Pogba wants to ‘step out of Jose Mourinho’s tactical shadow’

Paul Pogba is seeking a transfer back to Juventus to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports in Spain.

Marca claim that the Frenchman – who left Juventus for Manchester United in an £89m move two years ago – wants to ‘step out of Jose Mourinho’s tactical shadow at Manchester United’.

Pogba has just won the World Cup with France despite his distracting hair, and is understandably keen not to return to United to be blamed for what already looks like being a poor season.

Marca claim: ‘And with Cristiano Ronaldo now situated in Turin, Pogba is understood to have informed United, via his agent Mino Raiola, that he wants to leave and play once again for the Old Lady.’

The problem is that Raiola has been hawking Pogba around the big clubs of Europe this year but had no luck, with Barcelona choosing not to move beyond ‘initial consultations’.
