Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger claims his side were unlucky to concede their second goal against Manchester City as it was offside.
Pep Guardiola claimed his first trophy in English football as Manchester City powered to a 3-0 win over the Gunners in the Carabao Cup final.
Sergio Aguero set the Premier League leaders on the way to victory with the opening goal before second-half strikes from the outstanding Vincent Kompany and David Silva finished off the Gunners at Wembley.
It was an emphatic response from City after their bid for a quadruple came to an end with a shock defeat to League One Wigan on Monday.
“I felt the game, we had the first good chance, a very easy one that we missed,” he said after the match.
“After that we made a big mistake for their first goal. But we controlled them pretty well in the first half, but they came out in the second half, and we were unlucky because the second goal was offside. But congratulations to Man City, they deserve the win.”
